KUWAIT: A rescue mission was carried out to ensure the safety of an Arab mechanic who was trapped under a 200-ton crane that collapsed in the wood scrapyard in Amgharah. Firemen had to secure the crane, before cutting the metal and rescuing the man who was later handed over to paramedics. The rescue operation lasted for 12 hours, and was carried out by teams from occupational Jahra, technical rescue and backup fire stations.
