KUWAIT: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health yesterday reported two deaths and 909 more cases of COVID-19, raising the count to 339 and 42,788 respectively. The latest infections include 479 Kuwaiti citizens, while the remaining cases are of several other nationalities, the ministry's Spokesman Dr Abdullah Al-Sanad said in his daily briefing.
Earlier yesterday, the Ministry of Health said that 558 more coronavirus patients had recovered in the past 24 hours. This brings the country's overall count of recoveries from the viral illness to 33,367 so far, the ministry said in a statement. Lab analyses and tests showed that the patients had already been cured of the virus, the ministry added. - KUNA
