KUWAIT: As the genocide, tragedy, and crimes against humanity in Gaza continue, LAPA-LOYAC is getting ready to launch the “Return 2024” festival (third edition) in order to shed light on the Palestinian cause and support the Palestinian artists in Palestine. The annual festival will include various cultural and artistic activities, reflecting the importance of cultural resistance and its effective role within the Palestinian resistance, as it is considered among the most important types of resistance that send fear into the Zionist entity and shake its image in front of the world’s public opinion.
The festival will start on March 3rd and continue until March 6th. The first day will be opened with a monodrama play titled “The Gazelle of Akka” by Palestinian artist Raeda Taha. The second day will be a dancing performance by the LAPA troupe titled “The Palestinian Story.” There will also be a performance by the “Banat Al-Quds” band of the Eduard Saeed National Music Institute. The third day will be a second performance of “The Gazelle of Akka.” The fourth day will have a LAPA dancing troupe and a Banat Al-Quds band. “Banat Al-Quds” is a band from Jerusalem led by Dr Suhail Khouri that includes instruments, plays, and singers from Palestine.
