KUWAIT: Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah received on Sunday Jordanian Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya at the Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Coast Guard base camp at Sheikh Jaber Bridge.

A statement by the General Department of Security Relations and Media of the Interior Ministry said that Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef received Minister Al-Faraya in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry for Border Security, Major General Mujbil bin Shawq and the Director General of the Administration of the Coast Guard, Brigadier General Sheikh Mubarak Ali Yousef Al-Sabah.

The visit comes under the frameworks of strengthening security cooperation and the exchange of capabilities between Kuwait and Jordan, including evaluation of the preparedness of the General administration of the Coast Guard in its role of safeguarding the regional waters and maritime borders. – KUNA
