Leadership supports National Guard

KUWAIT: Deputy Chief of the National Guard, Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, affirmed Monday that Kuwait’s leadership provides full support to the Kuwait National Guards for the role they play in the defense and security of the country. According to a press release issued by the National Guard, he said during a visit to the Kabd relay station, which is guarded by the National Guard, that the role of the squad, in cooperation with military police and fire forces, is vital for maintaining the stability of the homeland.

Sheikh Faisal extended greetings to the National Guard Chief, His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, wishing them success in their duties. The Deputy Chief praised the efforts of the National Guards in securing vital locations and invigorated them to be on full alert and committed to their obligations, thus giving an example model.

Jahez exercises

Meanwhile, the Assistant for Administrative Support in the National Guard, Major General Engineer Essam Nayef, confirmed on Sunday that the Jahez exercise, which is carried out by the administrative support units, aims to measure readiness, provide support to state agencies to the fullest, and deal with any emergency.

Major General Nayef conveyed to the participants the greetings and appreciation of the Guard Command. The exercise is the first of its kind to carry out the tasks entrusted to them in providing support to state agencies. It also shows the extent to which the affiliates benefited during the period of coexistence and training with ministries and state institutions. He called on the participants in the exercise to cooperate and adhere to the procedures for security and safety, praising the great support provided by the National Guard Command to the units.—KUNA
