Manpower and KGOC enhance opportunities

KUWAIT: The Public Authority for Manpower and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) discussed on Sunday the company’s future projects which are aimed at enhancing job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth and national cadres in the oil sector. Acting Director General of the Authority, Marzouq Al-Otaibi, said that this came after the Cabinet’s decision on the disbursement of national labor support to citizens working in contracts for joint operations contractors in the Divided Zone.

“The issuance of this decision is an encouragement to citizens, fairness to them, and equality with their fellow citizens working for contractors in the oil sector,” he praised the active role of the KGOC in encouraging Kuwaiti youth to work in the company.

For his part, the Head of Al-Khafji Joint Operations and Executive Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs at KGOC, Nayef Al-Enezi, expressed their desire to provide job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth wishing to work in the oil sector. KGOC presented an honorary shield to the Public Authority for Manpower in appreciation of its efforts in supporting the employment of national workers.
