KUWAIT: Hawally detectives arrested an Asian woman accused of setting several vehicles ablaze after stealing them in Salmiya. The suspect had seven suitcases with mobile phones and jewelry in them. She was sent to concerned authorities to face charges, the Interior Ministry's Relations and Security Media Department said in a statement. Meanwhile, Police arrested a man who stabbed an officer while on duty in Fintas. The suspect was sent to concerned authorities to face legal action.

In other news, Sulaibkhat and Jleeb fire stations put out flames that caught makeshift homes used as residence for workers at the Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Olympic Shooting Complex. No injuries were reported, and an investigation was opened to reveal the cause of the fire.
