KUWAIT: The Fatwaand Legislation Department has finished a legal review of the medicalresponsibility and patients' right protection law referred to it from theMinistry of Health (MoH), said informed sources. The sources added that theCabinet will review the law next month pending referral to the parliament bythe end of October or in November.
"This law isa priority for the government that is expected to be passed," the sourceshighlighted. Meanwhile, MoH sources said the ministry is about to take over theKuwait Institute for Media Specializations (KIMS) building project from theMinistry of Public Works (MPW), adding that the building is built over a totalarea of 15,000 sq m in Sabah medical zone.
