KUWAIT: Drugs Control General Department learned about a citizen importing drugs via courier companies hidden in postal packages. The suspect was arrested and 3.5 kg of hashish, along with other drugs including cocaine and 'chemical' (a variety of 'Spice' or synthetic cannabinoids) were seized. Officers also found hashish oil and wax that are used in processing hashish and its derivatives.


A memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Guard and Interior Ministry to exchange several security missions between the two sides. Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lt Gen Mahmoud Al-Dousary headed the Interior Ministry's side, while Lt Col Hashim Al-Rifae headed the National Guard's side.


Kuwait Municipality's public relations department said the Capital branch emergency team raided a food warehouse in Rai and found 6.75 tons of spoiled food, which was confiscated and destroyed. The store was closed administratively. Head of the team Zaid Al-Enezi said the spoiled food included cheese with mold on it.
