Kuwait launches passport issuance service at airport

KUWAIT: In a new step to keep abreast of technological developments and upgrade the development of services provided to citizens, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Citizenship and Travel Documents, launched a new passport issuance service for citizens who have a prior travel reservation (ticket) and will leave the country in less than 24 hours at Kuwait International Airport (T4).

The Ministry aims to provide this new service at Kuwait Airport on a 24-hour basis to facilitate and simplify passport issuance procedures and speed of completion for citizens who are surprised by the expiration of their passports when traveling. - KUNA
