KUWAIT: All Kuwaiti citizens are permitted to reside in Bosnia and Herzegovina for no more than 90 days during a six month period, starting from the date of entry, a statement by Kuwait’s embassy in Sarajevo said yesterday. All minors under the age of 14 traveling to Bosnia and Herzegovina on their own are required to present a written consent from their guardians permitting them to travel to the country, the statement received by KUNA added.

Meanwhile, all those departing Sarajevo are permitted to carry a minimum of 2500 Euro in cash and are advised not to have large sums of money in their possession. All those with more than 5000 Euro are required to declare it to customs, the statement said, adding that all those renting a car should complete all the required and necessary paperwork. For those wishing to bring in domestic workers, the statement noted that the workers should have a valid visa which covers the entire duration of their stay in the country, or else they would face legal action.

The statement also advised those with lost or damaged passports to contact the embassy phone number immediately. Customs laws in Sarajevo only permit visitors to the country to have no more than 200 cigarettes in their possession, in addition to a minimum of 250 ml of perfume per person, the statement added, noting that customs officials have the right to confiscate any quantities surpassing these amounts.
