KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality said on Thursday that six public parks have been allocated to hold events and activities to celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the National Day and the 33rd anniversary of Liberation Day this month. The celebrations will be held in cooperation and coordination with the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources.

The municipality confirmed in a press release to the Public Relations Department that the continuation of daily work has started for cleaning departments to prepare places and sites designated for holding activities and events associated with the celebrations of national holidays.

It explained that the teams of public hygiene departments in the municipality carried out cleaning work for those public parks and distributed containers, in addition to raising the state’s flag on the mast of the main entrance to the parks where the events will be held during this February.

The municipality stated that its field teams continue cleaning work daily, in addition to carrying out several inspection tours during the month for cleaning teams. This is related to cleaning work and distributing containers at the sites and places for celebrations be it in front of the official buildings of the governorates, the coastal strip, Mubarakiya markets, the Red Palace and the city of Ahmadi, it added. —KUNA
