KUWAIT: In the coming days, the weather is expected to be relatively cold with chances of dust and scattered rain, the Kuwait Meteorological Center said yesterday. Abdulaziz Al-Qarrawi, an official at the center, told KUNA that earlier yesterday, Kuwait witnessed cloudy weather because of increasing wind activity. Clouds will decrease with a chance of dust and scattered light rain, as the wind will shift coming from the northwest at speeds of 25 to 60 kilometers per hour (km/h). The temperature was 22 to 25 degrees Celsius while the state of the sea saw waves reaching a height of three to seven feet.
Yesterday evening was cold as northwesterly wind decreased in speed to about 15 to 40 km/h while temperature dropped to 10 to 12 degrees Celsius, said the meteorologist, adding that the status of the sea waves were light to moderate at two to five feet in height. Today's weather will witness light to moderate northwestern winds at 15 to 35 km/h during the day, while in the evening, they will be between three to 30 km/h.
The temperature today will be 17 to 19 degrees Celsius during the day and seven to 10 degrees Celsius during the evening, said Qarrawi, who noted that the sea in the morning will have light to moderate waves at two to four feet. The same light to moderate waves will continue in the evening at one to four feet in height.
He indicated that the temperature tomorrow morning will be 18 to 20 degrees Celsius and in the evening, it will be between 12 to 15 degrees Celsius. Tomorrow will see wind shifting from the northwest to the southeast during the day as clouds increase, with speeds reaching six to 28 km/h. In the evening, the speed will increase to reach between 15 and 40 km/h. The sea tomorrow will see light waves at a height of one to two feet, while the evening will see light to moderate waves at an increasing height of three to six feet. - KUNA
