122 expatriates deported in 2023 so far

KUWAIT: The Traffic Department revealed that the number of expatriates who were deported from the country for committing serious violations amounted to 122 from the beginning of this year until the end of last October. It said the number is likely to increase by the end of this year.

The Traffic Department also indicated that the number of licenses cancelled in four years has reached 300,000. About 50,390 driving licenses were cancelled in 2020, 88,925 in 2021, 100,266 in 2021 and about 53,083 were withdrawn in 2023. The number includes the deceased and the expats whose residency permits expired or those who left the country permanently.
