RIYADH: Saudi Arabia Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman received on Tuesday visiting Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. During the meeting, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing best wishes for the kingdom.
The two sides also tackled bilateral cooperation, regional and international developments. Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah also discussed on Tuesday with Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bilateral cooperation relations and regional international developments. Al-Fahad praised bilateral relations and keenness between the two countries to boost relations in various areas and all levels.
Earlier, Al-Fahad arrived in Riyadh and was received by the Saudi Minister of Defense and the Ambassador of Kuwait to the Kingdom Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jasem Al-Budaiwi.
Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah on Wednesday paid a visit to the headquarters of a Saudi-led Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism, where he was briefed of its latest plans and endeavors. The Kuwaiti defense minister praised the alliance’s determination to clamp down on the scourge of terrorism, while the military coalition’s secretary general Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Al-Mughaidi expressed his appreciation for the visit, acknowledging Kuwait’s contributions towards counter-terrorism efforts. — KUNA
