Zain Alshuhoor volunteer team shares Ramadan joy with community

KUWAIT: As part of its annual mission to share the joys and blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan with the various segments of Kuwaiti community, the Zain Alshuhoor volunteer team organized a series of humanitarian visits to celebrate Girgian (candy distribution) with children and their families in hospitals, as well as with centers and clubs for individuals with special needs. The team visited the pediatric wards at both Zain Hospital and Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital, where they joined children, their families, and the nursing staff in celebrating Girgian. Gifts and toys were distributed in collaboration with Dabdoob.

Zain also continued its support for the annual Girgian celebrations at Al-Kharafi Special Needs Center and the Al-Tomooh Sports Club for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Both events featured a variety of entertainment and cultural activities designed to bring happiness and joy to the hearts of children with special needs and their families. The Girgian celebrations included traditional performances with the participation of children from Al-Kharafi Center and Al-Tomooh Club, alongside numerous recreational activities and interactive competitions aimed at developing their talents and enhancing their creative abilities.

Zain’s team also distributed Girgian treats to spread cheer and delight among the children. The Zain Alshuhoor campaign continues to evolve each year, expanding its programs and initiatives. Through this campaign, the company builds bridges of collaboration with various entities across the country, embodying the spirit of giving that defines the Holy Month and reflecting the deep-rooted values of the Kuwaiti people in helping others and spreading love and peace.
