KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, paid a visit to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Building at the Ministry of Interior on Tuesday evening. He was accompanied by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. Upon arrival, His Highness the Amir was received by Minister of Defense and Acting Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, as well as Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
During the visit, His Highness the Amir delivered a speech, in which he extended his greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. He commended the dedication of the Ministry of Interior’s personnel, both military and civilian, acknowledging their vital role in safeguarding national security and ensuring the safety of the Kuwaiti people.
"Security is the foundation of a nation’s development and a cornerstone of its progress and prosperity,” His Highness stated. "We take great pride in the men and women of the Ministry of Interior, whose vigilance and unwavering commitment serve as the nation’s protective shield.”
His Highness expressed appreciation for the tireless efforts of security personnel, emphasizing their pivotal role in maintaining stability and upholding the safety of society. He also prayed for the success of the ministry’s leadership and members in fulfilling their national duties.
