KUWAIT: Zain organized a visit to the historic Souq Al-Mubarakiya market in the heart of Kuwait City to distribute iftar meals to market workers. This initiative, which runs daily throughout the Holy Month for the 18th consecutive year, is part of the company’s annual Ramadan campaign, Zain Al-Shuhoor.
The visit was attended by Zain Kuwait’s Chief Technology Officer, Daaij Al-Oud, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, Waleed Al-Khashti, Deputy Director General for Administrative Affairs at the Kuwait Food Bank, Mahmoud Al-Kandari, Grand Mosque Imam Sheikh Omar Al-Damkhi, as well as representatives from Zain, Kuwait Food Bank, and members of the Zain Al-Shuhoor volunteer team.
This initiative is a key pillar of Zain’s annual Ramadan program, through which the company, in partnership with its strategic ally, the Kuwait Food Bank, provides daily iftar meals. These meals are distributed via food trucks that travel across the country, reaching densely populated areas to serve workers, individuals, and underprivileged families.

Additionally, Zain provides daily iftar meals at Manahi Al-Dawas Hall in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, bringing the total number of meals distributed throughout the Holy Month to 40,000. Zain’s team actively supervises and organizes this initiative, with support from the Zain Al-Shuhoor volunteer team, comprising employees from various departments, reinforcing Zain’s commitment to meaningful community engagement.
Year after year, Zain Al-Shuhoor continues to expand and evolve, introducing new programs and initiatives. Through this campaign, the company strengthens its collaboration with various organizations across the country, embodying the spirit of generosity that defines Ramadan. It also reflects the deep-rooted values of Kuwaiti society in supporting others and fostering love and peace.
