ShareKUWAIT: President of World Aquatics Hussein Al-Musallam said “True investment, that develops countries and cities is that of sport”. Al-Musallam spoke during the International Forum themed “United Through Sport”, that was held on the sidelines of Paris Olympics 2024, with the French Sports Minister Amelie Oudea-Castera.
Al-Musallam said “I am from Asia, look at the Asian cities Seoul, Beijing and Doha, how they were and how they became after organizing the Olympics and the World Cup.”
He said, “I am happy to be in Paris for the Olympics, and during the World Day for Drowning Prevention.” He said that he has his colleagues in the World Aquatics changed the strategy and work vision, as a clear strategy was put to practice swimming which includes the sport, health and rescue.
