Sahel adds 5 e-services

KUWAIT: The official spokesman for Sahel, Yusuf Kazim, announced that the Public Authority for Industry has added five new electronic services through the government application (Sahel Business) for business owners related to contracts and licenses. Kazim explained that the new electronic services are ‘inquiry about contract data’; ‘request to pay rent for vouchers in industrial areas’; the possibility of issuing ‘To Whom It May Concern certificate’ for license holders; approval of customs exemption for raw materials or packaging materials, etc.; and service ‘inquiry about license data’.

The services came under the directives of the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar and the follow-up of the acting Director General of the Public Authority for Industry Mohamed Al-Adwani. This is aimed at enhancing the experience of users of the government application (Sahel Business) for business owners, especially owners of industrial plots. He praised the efforts of the Public Authority for Industry in developing its services. — KUNA
