19 outstanding students to enroll for special programs

KUWAIT: The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Talent and Creativity, one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, announced on Thursday the completion of the registration of distinguished Kuwaiti students. 19 students were selected to enroll in special enrichment programs to hone their skills and qualify them for prestigious international universities.

The director general of the center, Nada Al-Dihani, confirmed in a press release that one of the main pillars of the center’s strategy is to support and motivate outstanding Kuwaiti students who have high scientific abilities and skills that enable them to enroll in well-known international universities. These universities, such as the Universities of Pennsylvania, Johns Hopkins, and Yale (in the United States of America) and the Imperial University in the United Kingdom, annually organize summer camps and programs in various countries across the globe.

The Center relies on these programs to create a new generation of young men and women who have the capacity to develop and improve their skills. About 300 outstanding students from all schools in Kuwait applied for preliminary tests, and 19 of them were selected to enroll in these programs at international universities. — KUNA
