The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Embassy in Kuwait celebrated World Diplomatic Women’s Day for the second year in a row. An invitation was sent to us to participate in this year’s celebration on June 24, 2024.

The celebration began with a speech by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kuwait, Prince Sultan Bin Saad Bin Khail Al Saud, followed by a speech by the advisor at the Kuwait Foreign Ministry, Riham Al-Ghanim, and then a speech by Shurouq Al-Quwaie from Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry, who surprised the audience with her presence.

Al-Quwaie spoke about a diplomatic woman in Saudi Arabia and her role in the Foreign Ministry. What distinguished Al-Quwaie is her confidence while talking about the Saudi woman and her diplomatic role (being her) at the Foreign Ministry or in the diplomatic missions abroad.

The World Diplomatic Women’s Day celebration at the Saudi Embassy was distinguished by the presence of a large number of women diplomats from the Foreign Ministry and diplomatic missions in Kuwait, Arab countries, and foreign nations.

We cannot ignore the men, as the celebration witnessed the presence of ambassadors from Arab and Western countries who celebrated with women that day. Finally, "we always pray to Allah Almighty to grant the country of the two Holy Mosques happiness and more blessings.”
