Al-Arabi thrash Al-Nasser 4-0

KUWAIT: As Kuwait Zain Football League draws to a close, matches are becoming critically important specially between the two top teams in the standings Kuwait which has 57 points and Al-Arabi with 54 points after defeating the winless Al-Nasser 4-0 on Tuesday.

Al-Arabi’s goals were scored by Ayman Al-Safaqisi in the 40th minute, Salman Al-Awadhi in the 58th minute, Hamza Khaba in the 61st minute and Bandar Al-Salama in the 94th minute.

Al-Qadisiya club was out of luck as they drew 0-0 with Al-Salmiya to reach 50 points and take third place while Salmiya remained in fourth place with 32 points.

Kuwait Premier League was divided into two groups after the 18th round the “championship” and relegation, as the championship group includes Kuwait, Arabi, Qadisiya, Salmiya, Al-Nasser and Fahaheel, Meanwhile the relegation group has Kazima, Shabab, Khaitan and Jahra.

All teams move to their respective group with their total points from the previous two rounds.
