Al-Kharafi wins basic dressage

KUWAIT: Rider Hussein Al-Kharafi won the first place of the basic dressage level at 74.58 percent at the end of the first edition of Kuwait Riding Center Dressage Championship that was held at the center. He also won the second basic dressage level of the same championship.

In the middle dressage level Cora Boselli was the winner while rider Ibrahim Ismail won the light dressage level. Danah Bourislee won the training level.

Khalid Mohammad Al-Kharafi who handed the winners their awards said, “we at Kuwait Riding Center seek to support the equestrian sport and the dressage championships as it’s the foundation of equestrianism in general, and gives horses sound posture and healthy muscles and enables the rider to control the horse”.

He hoped the state gives more interest in the dressage sport, while thanking rider Sheikha Fajer Al-Sabah for her support of this distinguished sport.
