AIoT can ‘improve living standards’

ABU DHABI: Applying Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) would enable several sectors in Kuwait to enhance efficiency and may also improve living standards, the head of the Kuwaiti AIoT association, Sheikh Mohammad Ahmad Al-Sabah, said. The AIoT is the combination of AI technologies with the internet of things (IoT) infrastructure to achieve efficient IoT operations and improve human-machine interactions.

This, in turn, will foster competition, improve economic and social development, and elevate living standards by creating more job opportunities, Sheikh Mohammad told KUNA while participating in an AI conference held in Dubai. The forum discussed AI-related matters and explored ways of enabling institutions and government bodies to efficiently and strategically utilize AI to increase productivity.

Sheikh Mohammad also pointed to the potential of AI across different fields, including manufacturing, medicine, education, and others, if properly utilized, and the association’s role in developing the technology and its effects on the community. He added that the association was working on providing educational courses and workshops for individuals and institutions in hopes of raising standards and awareness in this domain. — KUNA
