14 Kuwaiti officers graduate from Qatari Military College

Doha: Qatari Ahmad bin Mohammad Military College celebrated Wednesday the graduation of the 19th batch of officers including 14 members of Kuwait National Guard. The ceremony was patronized and attended by Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.

Kuwaiti military attache to Qatar Brigadier General Raed Al-Sunni congratulated the graduates via a statement to KUNA, and commended their performance and commitment, wishing them success in serving their homeland.

He highlighted the importance of such training courses in developing human capital, and benefiting from information and practical application. He also commended the advanced technical and administrative level of the college.

Kuwaiti officer Waleed Ali Ibrahim was awarded first place in computer information systems whereas officer Sultan Ali Al-Shammari took first place in management.

Attending the ceremony were Ambassador of Kuwait to Qatar Khaled Al-Mutairi and Commander of Ali Al-Sabah Military College Brigadier General Khaled Al-Otaibi and a number of officials. - KUNA
