KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality announced the removal of 137 camps for violating the conditions and regulations of camping in the governorates of Jahra and Ahmadi after the supervisory teams from the Spring Camps Committee intensified their tours to inspect the violating camps.
The Director of the Department of Public Hygiene and Road Works in Jahra Governorate, Mohammed Al-Jabaa, said in a press statement on Tuesday that the tours carried out by the supervisory team in the governorate resulted in the removal of 12 camps, the lifting of 20 mobile vehicles, 250 motorcycles and six street shops as the tours included the areas near Jahra and Al-Mutlaa.
Nawaf Al-Mutairi, director of the Public Hygiene and Road Works Department in Ahmadi province, said in a similar statement that the governorate’s supervisory team has removed 125 camps for violating the conditions and regulations.
Al-Mutairi stressed that the inspection teams will not hesitate to remove any violating camp calling for the need to adhere to the rules and regulations for setting up spring camps.
