KUWAIT: HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah affirmed the importance of the private sector's role in strengthening the national economy and contributing to diversifying sources of income. He also underlined the importance of cooperation with concerned agencies to achieve the desired development goals.

HH the Amir's statements came during his meeting yesterday with Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Mohammad Jassem Al-Sager and KCCI members at Bayan Palace. Sager said, on behalf of the Chamber's members, that it was their honor to meet HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf, congratulating him on assuming office. Sagar added HH the Amir's role is a continuation of the march of late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in serving Kuwait and its people.

KCCI also congratulated HH the Amir on naming HH Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as Crown Prince, and praised the smooth government transition.
