Al-Thaid Date Festival is one of the most prominent annual events held in the UAE, representing an interactive platform that brings together local farmers, reflecting their agricultural heritage and culture with their interest in preserving the date palm trees, harvesting its fruits and exchanging experiences to obtain the best types of dates.

The festival, held in Sharjah, is an integral part of the cultural heritage of the Emirates, cultivating over 120 varieties of dates such as Fard, Lulu, Anbara and Barhi, with the aim of preserving the well-known culture relating to agriculture.
