KUWAIT: Customs officers foiled an attempt to smuggle in around 4,608 liquor bottles into Kuwait. The contrabands were found in 384 cardboard boxes that were in a shipment that arrived from an Asian country at Shuwaikh Port.

Fight
Following a video clip that went viral on social media showing a fight between two persons, with one using a sharp object, the interior ministry's relations and security information department said a man lodged a complaint against another man at Abdullah Al-Mubarak police station claiming he attacked him with a sharp object. Police arrested the suspect and detained him for further action. Meanwhile, the ministry announced that it launched investigations into claims of a citizen and a police officers who accused each other of assault, as well as claims circulated on social media that a high ranking ministry official intervened and suspended the policeman in favor of the citizen.
