KUWAIT: Kuwait
International Airport customs officers arrested a passenger who tried to
smuggle 22 kilograms of marijuana into the country. This comes on the heels of
another attempt to smuggle 300 kg of the banned substance by boat, which was
recently prevented by customs. Kuwait Customs Department Director Jamal
Al-Jalawi gave instructions to send the suspect, and African national, to
concerned authorities.
