KUWAIT: Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. (AAW) and INTERSPORT, one of the leading sport brands, announced on Sunday their support and sponsorship of the 11th Run Kuwait charity race. The run was organized by the non-profit Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN) on November 11 at Morouj, to raise funds for the treatment of children with special needs.

Run Kuwait’s sponsorship by AAW and INTERSPORT is driven by the strong commitment of both brands to corporate social responsibility, and their support for local initiatives that aim to create a positive impact on society. Their participation in the event included the sponsorship, and their teams’ participation in the race.

Run Kuwait is an initiative that combines social responsibility with fun, enabling participants to contribute to the well-being of children with special needs, who require treatment. The event raised funds to support the Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC), which offers a wide range of multi-disciplinary treatments for children with disabilities, providing free treatment for those in need.

This year’s edition of the Run Kuwait charity race introduced a new initiative that made the event even more special. For the first time, children were encouraged to participate, not just for fun but also to support children in need. The race featured three categories: 10 KM, 5 KM, and kids race.
