KUWAIT: Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan honors Zain.

KUWAIT: Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, announced its platinum sponsorship of the fifth E-Government Forum organized by the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) under the theme 'Digital Transformation'. The event, held at Courtyard Marriott Hotel, came under the patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

 

The opening ceremony witnessed the attendance of several prominent figures, led by HH the Prime Minister's representative the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of State for Youth Affairs Khaled Al-Roudhan, General Manager of the forum co-organizer, NoufEXPO, Yousef Al-Marzouq, Deputy Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) Qussai Al-Shatti, as well as a number of experts, professionals, and leaders from both the public and private sectors.

 

Zain's platinum sponsorship of the forum comes in line with its core objectives that aim at shouldering the advancement of the community as a whole on all levels, where the company reaffirms the principal of partnership through similar efforts with the aim of contributing to the further progress of national economy.

The 5th E-Government Forum focused on Digital Transformation as the journey that government agencies should undergo to be able to achieve the objective of the e-government program set by the government. EGOV5 discussed the basic characteristics of digital transformation, its requirements, its success factors, and the pitfalls or risks that need to be considered and mitigated along the way.
