KUWAIT: Favorites Al-Arabi Sports Club football team was held to 1-1 draw by Al-Shabab in the second round of Kuwait Zain League (Dawry Zain). Al-Arabi’s Jumaa Aboud scored the first goal in the 67th minute. Al-Shabab did not lay back and were able to equalize in the 84th minute. The goal was scored by Abdulaziz Al-Qattan. Al-Arabi now have secured second place with 4 points while Al-Shabab grabbed the fifth place with 2 points.

Khaitan 3 Fahaheel 0

The second match was between Khaitan and Fahaheel. The hosts Khaitan were able to score three unanswered goals - raising their points total to 4, while Fahaheel remained in the ninth position with a lone point. Fahaheel did not seem to be ready for what Khaitan planned as they began to attack from the onset. Fahaheel defenders could not keep up - allowing Khaitan’s player Willington to score in the 9th-minute.

Fahaheel in their attempt to equalize moved forward, leaving open areas in which Khaitan players found rooms to operate. Khaitan were awarded a penalty in the 37th-minute which was converted into a goal by Rodrigo. Then 3 minutes later, another penalty was awarded to Khaitan and was converted to a goal by Willington.
