KUWAIT: Zain, the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait, awarded the winners of the three first-place winners of GulfRun’s Karting Endurance Race. The honoring came as part of the company’s main sponsorship of the region’s most popular motorsport activity.
Zain’s sponsorship of the latest edition of this unique motorsport event is in line with the company’s strategy and belief in supporting the youth and sports sectors, and encouraging the various sporting initiatives that cater to young people in Kuwait.
Zain awarded the first, second and third place winners of the 12 and 24 hours Karting Endurance Races, which were held at Kuwait’s SIRBB Circuit and witnessed immense participation of thrillseeking crowds and motorsport enthusiasts, both amateur and professional. GulfRun activities will continue to include the final race in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is considered as a true test of participants’ motorsport skills, in addition to the sport cars show that will take place at Murooj next week, where participants will showcase their sport cars and thrill visitors.
GulfRun is considered an ideal and safe alternative to street racing, which threatens the lives of many people, many of them young drivers, every year. Through GulfRun, motorsport enthusiasts were able to showcase their talents within professional and certified grounds. By sponsoring this event, Zain also looks to highlight its dedication to applying safety measures while driving on the roads of Kuwait, especially for the country’s youth
