KUWAIT: Kuwait Riding Center Rider Ali Jassim Al-Kharafi came out the winner of "The Stadium” Horse Show Championship that was held at the Marina Beach with the participation of more than 500 riders of both genders.
The grand prize heat at the 140-145 cm height Ali Al-Kharafi and Fawaz Al-Subaie had to go through a differentiation round which was won by Al-Kharafi in 47.15 seconds without faults while Al-Subaie came out second with 47.15 seconds but with 4 fault points, followed by Yara Al-Hunaidi, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Ghazi Al-Juwairy and Enaz Al-Enaz.
Al-Kharafi was very pleased with winning the title of the first championship held at the beach with a large number of fans in attendance.
He dedicated his win to Kuwait Riding Center and to the Showjumping fans. Meanwhile, Suffix CEO Ahmad Al-Majed said, "the equestrian sport is continually developing and we decided to have an exceptional championship and organized at the Arabian Gulf beach to reflect a beautiful impression of Kuwait and tell everyone in Kuwait and abroad about our ability to organize events”. The winners were awarded by Al-Majed and KIB board member Anwar Bu-Khamseen.
