KUWAIT:  A woman delivered a baby safely on board of a Manila-bound Kuwait Airways flight on Tuesday. The cabin crew were quick to handle the emergency situation professionally during the nine-hour flight. The condition of the Filipina mother and her baby was described as stable. Photos circulating on social media showed members of the cabin crew holding the baby shortly after the successful delivery.

"The cabinet crew on Kuwait Airways flight KU417 heading to Manila on Tuesday August 2, 2022 handled an emergency delivery case on board," the national airline said in a statement on its Twitter account. "The crew carried out their duty in full professionalism, thanks to their comprehensive periodic training to be prepared for any emergency situation."
