KUWAIT: A vehicle flipped over on Seventh Ring Road, killing a woman and her daughter, while two others were taken to hospital. The bodies were handed to forensics. An investigation was opened to determine the cause of the accident.

Trapped people freed
A wall in a building under construction in Salmiya collapsed at dawn yesterday. Salmiya fire station responded and found three workers trapped under the rubble. Firemen freed them and they were taken to hospital by paramedics. Meanwhile, quick action by firemen freed a girl trapped in a swing in Mishref park yesterday morning. The girl was handed over to her parents.

Inspection campaigns
Kuwait Municipality's public relations department said inspections of stores and ads in April resulted in the removal of 753 violating ads from streets and yards. Director of inspections and services follow up in Hawally governorate Faleh Al-Otaibi said the municipality carried out inspection campaigns during mornings and evenings. He said inspectors checked 313 stores, issued 154 citations and removed 753 violating ads.
