KUWAIT: The medical examiner's report on the death of an expat woman and her compatriot suggested that the cause of death was asphyxiation from exhaust from the car the pair were in. The two were found dead inside a car in an uninhabited area of old Khaitan. The woman and man were inside the running car, she was 35 and he was 29 years old.

First drowning victim

The first drowning in the summer of 2016 was recorded at Meidan Hawally police station, when a call about an expat drowning in a swimming pool on the sea front. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene, and he was given first aid, but died while on the way to hospital.

ATV death

A 22-year-old citizen was killed when an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) he was driving flipped over while heading to Kuwait City on Jahra road. The body was recovered by the coroner.
