KUWAIT: A half lorry driver was injured when his truck collided into a bus on Ghazali Road, said security sources, adding that the truck driver was trapped inside the wreckage. Firemen from Farwaniya rushed to the scene, where they managed to free the driver and handed him over to paramedics, the sources added.

Meanwhile, a limited fire broke out yesterday in a storage area in a Fahaheel building, said security sources, noting that firemen from Fahaheel and Mangaf fire stations rushed to the scene, where they evacuated the entire building and managed to control the fire. Some tenants were rushed to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.

In a separate incident, a sailor was rushed to hospital for treatment from injuries he sustained when he fell from a high place inside the engine chamber of a ship docked at Shuaiba Port, said security sources, noting that Shuaiba marine fire brigade immediately rescued the sailor and sent him to hospital for treatment.
