KUWAIT: Kuwait National Disabled Ping Pong team arrived back home with four medals after participating in the 15th "Alwatani” club international championship in Amman, Jordan.

The team’s bronze medals were won by Ali Al-Sane who won two medals while Bader Al-Nema and Awadh Al-Harby won one medal each. Head of the delegation Duaij Al-Hajiri said the team’s participation was positive as far as performance and results are concerned, considering the competition with 90 outstanding players from 12 countries.

He said "the players were able to compete for top places and win medals”. He said the team will participate in another international tournament to be held in September in Saudi Arabia, adding that we will work on raising the technical readiness of players in hopes of winning the largest possible number of medals.

Al-Hajiri lauded the support of the Public Authority for Sport and its officials keenness to facilitate the participation of the team.
