The Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Centre (ASCC) is the largest museum complex in the world. It comprises of six museums related to natural history, science and technology, Arab and Islamic science and space. The center is home to some 22 world-class galleries, with over 3,000 exhibits.
The museum recognizes the work of Arab and Islamic scholars in the fields of exploration, medicine, astronomy and engineering. Visitors can see how scientific discoveries contributed to the architectural wonders of the Islamic world. In a unique exhibit, visitors can interact with the holograms of Al-Khwarizmi, Al-Biruni and other ancient polymaths.
