Once again the State of Kuwait, headed by HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, showed in deed and not only words that Palestine, its people and cause are Kuwait’s cause and it is on top of its foreign policy priority list.

As soon as the occupation entity declared war against the Palestinian people, Kuwait’s foreign ministry issued its statement demanding the international community to bear responsibility towards the continued aggression over decades against the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights, and the necessity to end this occupation and establish an independent Palestinian state.

The National Assembly MPs and Kuwait people declared their stand next to their brothers in Palestine through the organization of solidarity and honorable stances that characterize the great people of Kuwait’s love of Palestine, Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque. As soon as the occupation entity launched its aggression against the civilians of our people in Gaza and destroyed scores of homes and buildings dwelled by civilians, most of whom are women and children, the Kuwaiti government, represented by the social affairs ministry, announced the launch of an urgent relief campaign for the Palestinian people.

The actual unconditional and unlimited stands of Kuwait in support of Palestine, its people and leadership, are stands of pride and a medal of honor on the chest of every Palestinian in Palestine and the diaspora.

I, and in the name of President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, Chairman of PLO executive committee, and in the name of the government and people of the State of Occupied Palestine, convey all types of gratitude and appreciation for every Kuwaiti on the soil of Kuwait of Arabism and dignity, led by HH the Amir, HH the Crown Prince, HH the Prime Minister, Speaker and members of the National Assembly, and also to every child in this dear country. Long live Kuwait! Long live Palestine!
