KUWAIT: Tentruckloads of debris were removed from Capital Governorate beaches yesterday,Kuwait Municipality announced, noting that the Capital municipality branchcleans beaches and markets daily. Department Director Meshaal Al-Azmi said thecapital's beaches are cleaned twice daily from 4 am to noon and from 2 pm to 10pm.
Meanwhile, actingKuwait Municipality Director General Faisal Al-Jumaa said since the start ofthe implementation of the decision to relocate 22 industrial land lots, 11 havebeen moved over 10 consecutive days. Jumaa said the lots are licensed but weregiven the license in a vital area near the sea and bay, but are being relocatedfollowing an environmental study to transfer the industrial lots to anotherarea.
