KUWAIT: The assistant principal of a Sulaibiya school Tasered a teacher and rendered him unconscious. No reason was given for this attack.
Employees questioned
The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) is set to question all employees who received higher education degrees since 2008 without leaving Kuwait. Those found to be holding fraudulent degrees may face legal consequences including questioning by the public prosecution. They may also have to repay any monies earned based on those degrees.
Environmental law
The Environment Public Authority (EPA) said a man was seen uprooting wild plants in Jahra protectorate. He was issued a citation according to article 105 of the environmental law.
Birds' import ban
The Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) banned the import of all live birds and day-old chicks from Malaysia and Germany due to bird flu.
