Suicide bomber kills 10 in Istanbul - Nine Germans, one Peruvian among those killed in 'IS' attack

SHARJAH: Sharjah ruler Sheikh Sultan Al-Qasimi stressed Wednesday the ties between UAE and Kuwait were rock-solid, highlighting the shared social, historical, cultural, and scientific connections between the two countries. According to a statement released by Sharjah government media office, Sheikh Sultan made the remarks while receiving Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Dubai, Ambassador Ali Al-Thaidi where the two sides discussed shared issues and interests and how to bolster them.

They discussed means of further cementing cultural, scientific, health and literary cooperation. On his side, Al-Thaidi conveyed Kuwait’s best regards of the political leadership and government to Sheikh Sultan. He also emphasized the long standing scientific and cultural cooperation between the two countries which started in the 1960s and still growing. — KUNA
