Twenty societies in Kuwait released a joint statement in which they warned of the deteriorated level of education in the country. They quoted a study carried out recently on 267 public and private schools which yielded "disappointing results" that they warned could lead to a "national crisis" unless prompt government intervention is taken to address the problem.
