KUWAIT: Firemen from six stations have put out a fire that broke out in stores selling tires and car parts in Mirqab yesterday, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said. After receiving an emergency call reporting the fire at around 2:00 am, one of the department's teams arrived at the scene within two minutes, KFSD said in a press statement.
It added that nine stores were affected by the blaze which stretched to 2,500 square meters, while the firemen were able to protect over 50 vehicles from catching fire. No people were hurt in the blaze and the directorate opened an investigation to determine the cause of fire. - KUNA
