
KUWAIT: Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah hailed the significant role of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) in recognizing the youth and supporting the society, which confirms the bank’s firm belief in the importance of this pivotal and most influential segment in the society. This underscores the major role of the youth in achieving the comprehensive sustainable human development.
On the occasion of opening the first GCC Youth Conference sponsored by KFH, under the auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Minster stressed on the importance of drawing up the best plans for youth empowerment that hone their skills and enable them to enhance the development process in the country.
The four-day conference is co-organized by the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs and the GCC Secretariat under the theme of “Youth Spaces – Opportunities and Potentials”. The conference comes in response to His Highness the Amir’s call for activating the role of youth in the development of their communities and shedding light on conditions and aspirations of the youth, yet it promotes the socio-economic GCC integration based on joint destiny.
