KUWAIT: The second round of Zain Football League is so far characterized by winning teams coming back after being down. On Wednesday Salmiya FC faced Nasr, which had control of the ball and that materialized in Zapata’s scoring the opening goal of the match, then in the second half Salmiya returned to its expected from and kept attacking and equalized in the 56th minute through Brazilian Siba, and substitute Athbi Shihab scored a second goal in the 70th minute from a long range.
Salmiya’s Zapata was able to equalize in the 82nd minute, but Salmiya was awarded a penalty kick in the 90th minute and Lima converted, giving his team three precious points.
